Vastu is the Vedic art of placement, the mother of the Chinese system of Feng Shui. It prescribes a beautiful method for living in harmony and prosperity within one’s home and environment.

Vastu: Creating a Sacred Space for Yoga

sacred_space Vastu means “to dwell happily inside” and is the ancient method outlined in the Atharva Veda for establishing peace, health, and prosperity within the individual herself, her dwelling place, and the entire environment of the earth.

Following this course, you’ll gain an introductory understanding of the system of Vastu as it’s laid out in such important Sanskrit scriptures as the Atharva Veda, the Puranas, and the 28 Agama Shastras. You’ll also acquire skills in determining your ideal location for optimal success, happiness, and spiritual progress. You’ll also learn how to detect common imbalances in your home and environment and helpful remedies you can apply to rectify these.
