From: Dr. Katyayani Poole, Ph.D.,
Shruti Institute for Vedic Arts
Broomfield, Colorado
Namaste!
What distinguishes Yoga from all other forms of exercise and self-development, is that the more you practice the more you want to explore its vast depth. This is why Yoga has survived for over 5,000 years. It’s a positive addiction.
Yet for those Yoga teachers and serious practitioners who are longing for a fun and profound advanced study of the teachings and traditions behind the modern expression of Yoga, the options are few.
Where can you go to advance your Yoga teaching skills by deepening your knowledge and experience of the sacred traditions at the source of Yoga?
You can attend a university program that will present the teachings of Yoga in an academic and non-experiential method. And while there’s value in its objective style, it’s not a completely satisfying approach for Yogis hungering for more spiritual growth and experience.
Or you can travel to India and search for a competent teacher who might provide you with the traditional knowlede you desire. But where do you find such a person and how long would that take?
Dr. Katyayani Poole, Ph.D. faced the same dilemma in her own search for the deep spiritual knowledge behind Yoga. It led her to spend many years studying the Vedic and Yoga traditions in the university setting and many years apprenticing with traditional teachers in India. And while as a result she gained mastery in Sanskrit & Yoga, she realized that not everyone could enjoy the same opportunity she was blessed with.
For this reason, Dr. Poole created a special course of study, “The Sanskrit & Yoga Mastery™ Program,” to provide you (a Yoga teacher and serious student) access to the great depth of knowledge and experience behind Yoga.
Dr. Poole’s program combines the best aspects of her academic training with her deep connection to a Vedic lineage and years and years of Yoga and meditation practice – to save you lots of unnecessary time, effort, and expenses, while providing you an opportunity to grow your Yoga practice and teaching in such powerful and unimaginable ways.
In just one year (or a little longer depending on your available time, resources, and commitment), you’ll
-
Learn the secret connection between Sanskrit, the Vedas, Vedic chanting, and the advanced practices of Yoga;
-
Align yourself with the traditional guru/disciple transmission of higher knowledge contained in the Upanisads;
-
Expand your consciousness and align with the laws of nature through Vedic meditation while reconnecting to the innocence of your silent inner Self;
-
Enliven states of higher consciousness through the spiritual technology contained within Patanjali’s Yoga Sutras in Sanskrit;
-
Awaken a deeper connection and awareness of your subtle body with the wisdom of the Hatha Yoga Pradipika and Kashmir Shaiva Tantric traditions;
-
Empower your self-confidence and meditative presence by mastering traditional Vedic chanting in Sanskrit and;
-
Realize the unlimited potential within you through the revolutionary teachings of the Bhagavad Gita.
This is why we've put together this first-of-its kind
Sanskrit & Yoga Mastery™ Level 1 Program that:
- Trains you to feel and experience the beauty and grace of Sanskrit, the sacred language of Yoga, as the pulse of prana (as life force and consciousness) within your subtle body;
- Deepens your Yoga asana practice by cultivating your awareness of the channels of prana (life force) within the subtle body by pronouncing and feeling the energetic Sanskrit syllables that comprise the names and energetic forms of the Yoga postures
- Provides you with the opportunity to gain transformational insight into Yoga’s most sacred and profound Sanskrit wisdom texts: the Vedas & Upanisads, the Yoga Sutras, Hatha Yoga Pradipika, and the Bhagavad Gita.
- Grants you entry into the bliss of Vedic chanting in Sanskrit and its power to increase the lively intelligence and prana within every layer of your physical and subtle physical body.
- And…gives you the skills to structure a fruitful, daily practice of Vedic chanting and meditation to integrate with your Yoga asana & pranayama practice that will give you more presence and inspiration as a Yoga teacher – not to mention a strong foundation on which to build a happy and fulfilled life.
As a result of completing this program, you’ll achieve a depth of experience in Yoga that is very rare and difficult to find anywhere.
